Returns and Refund Policy

Change of Mind Returns

We want you to love the products you buy from Cassa Vida. If you change your mind, you may return the product to us within 30 days of the date you received it, and we will issue you with a store credit. Where exceptions apply, customers are notified on the product display page. Note, change of mind returns are different to returning a product under the Australian Consumer Law if the product is faulty.

You will be responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

You must lodge a return request via emailing support@cassavida.com.au with your name and order number and our Customer Care team will arrange the return for you.

Products returned for change of mind reasons must be unopened in original packaging. This means not opened, used, assembled, damaged, washed or laundered in anyway.

The following products cannot be returned due to a change of mind:

  • Products described as "made to order"
  • Mattresses & bedding.
  • All forms of clearance items (i.e. any items labelled "clearance" on the site)
  • Personalised items
  • Seasonal products
  • Gift Cards
  • Items for commercial or non-domestic use

Within 5 business days of receiving your return, and subject to confirming it is in 'as-new' condition, we will issue you with a store credit voucher via email in an amount equal to the price you paid for the product, less the cost to ship the product to you and any shipping costs incurred by us for you to return the product back to the warehouse.

Store credit voucher codes will be valid for one (1) year from the date of issue.

We will not accept returns delivered in person to our depots, offices, or warehouse facilities.

Wrong Product Delivered

Very occasionally we may accidentally ship the wrong product to you. If you have received an incorrect product, let us know as soon as you can, ideally within 3 days of receiving your delivery. We will offer to send you the correct product and arrange for the pick-up and return of the incorrectly shipped product at no cost to you.

Faults and Damages

If a product arrives and the packaging or the product itself is clearly and significantly damaged, you should take photos or video showing the damage, refuse to accept the delivery and contact us immediately.

If you notice after a product arrives that it is missing parts, is faulty, is defective or has been damaged during manufacturing, please take photos or video clearly illustrating the problem and email to support@cassavida.com.au along with your name and order number as soon as possible, ideally within 3 days of receiving your delivery.

Cancellations

You may cancel all or part of an order before it reaches the dispatch processing stage in which case you can choose whether to receive a store credit voucher or refund in the amount you paid for the products (including shipping, assuming there are no other products remaining on the order to be shipped). After an order reaches the dispatch processing stage, cancellations or changes are only possible if we agree to them. As we aim to process your order as soon as possible, which could be within hours of you placing your order, requests for cancellations should be lodged as soon as possible after ordering. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them. Products described as 'made to order' cannot be cancelled under any circumstances. Please be advised, for Next day, Fast Track and Click & Collect dispatch items, no cancellations or changes are permitted under any circumstances.

If a cancellation to be completed a 5% admin surcharge will apply.

Disclaimer of Warranty

Certain products supplied through Cassa Vida may be serviced and supported by the manufacturer. This will be advertised and the product will be sold with the manufacturer’s warranty. We kindly ask you to contact the manufacturer or its local distributor first regarding any issues with the product. If the manufacturer is unable to comply, Cassa Vida will refund to you the purchase price of that product but will not otherwise be liable to the extent permitted by law.

Termination

We reserve the right to cancel, delay, refuse to ship, or recall from the shipper any order if fraud is suspected. In the event these Terms & Conditions or your membership or account are terminated the restrictions regarding intellectual property matters, the representations and warranties, indemnities, and limitations of liabilities set forth herein (as well as any other of your obligations which by their nature should survive termination) will survive termination.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude our liability for any loss or damage (including but not limited to indirect or consequential losses) arising out of your use of or purchase from our web site. To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you in relation to any product supplied to you is limited to the purchase price of the product.

This site may contain links to third party sites or references to other sites. Cassa Vida is not responsible for the condition or content of those sites as they are not under Cassa Vida control. You access those sites and/or use the site’s products and services solely at your own risk. The links are provided solely for your convenience and do not indicate, expressly or impliedly, an endorsement by Cassa Vida of the sites or the products or services provided on the site.

Cassa Vida does not permit any linkages to this site without prior permission.

Force Majeure

Cassa Vida is not liable for any delays in performing its obligations caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We will endeavour to perform our obligations as soon as possible within a reasonable extension of time.

These policies also govern your visit to cassavida.com.au ; We reserve the right to make changes to our site, policies, and these conditions at any time. If any of these conditions shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition. It is your responsibility to check these terms and conditions periodically for changes. Continued use of our site and orders of goods following the posting of changes will mean that you accept and agree to the changes.
